The SCD Secret Meet 2023 took place on the 11th July, in this blog we look back at the event.
Global Telemetrics are proud to announce that during Quarter 2 of 2023 we have recovered £11.9m worth of vehicles. At the halfway point of the year Global Telemetrics have been responsible for the recovery of £21.4m worth of vehicles.
This is a £2.6m increase in value from the halfway point of 2022, meaning we are still on target for our projected recovery total for 2023 of £40m.
As we now enter August we look back to June where Global Telemetrics monitored devices were responsible for the recovery of £2.7m worth of vehicles. This is on a par with June 2022. At the halfway point of the year, Global Telemetrics have recovered £21.5m worth of vehicles; this is £2.8m more than the halfway point of 2022. Global Telemetrics predicts a projected recovery total in excess of £40m by year’s end.
This month, Global Telemetrics monitored devices were responsible for the recovery of £3.5m worth of vehicles. This is a £600k increase from May 2022 and means that figures for recoveries in 2023 so far currently stand at £18.8m. This is £2.7m higher than the total this time last year, and we remain on course to hit a projected recovery total of £40m.
Now firmly into Q2, April has seen a record equalling month for recoveries for Global Telemetrics. Throughout April, Global Telemetrics monitored devices were responsible for the recovery of £5.8m worth of vehicles. This total equals the record set in March 2022 of the same total. April saw a £2.2m increase from March 2023.
Global Telemetrics are proud to announce that we have been responsible for the recovery of £9.5m worth of vehicles in Q1 of 2023.
As the first quarter of 2023 draws to a close, Global Telemetrics remains on track to hit the projected recovery total of £40m of vehicles by year-end. March proved to be a busy month for the team, with £3.6 million worth of vehicles recovered. This is a £1.1m increase from last month’s figure of £2.5m, and brings our Q1 figure to £9.6m.
This February, Global Telemetrics recovered £2.5m worth of vehicles. This is £500k more than February of 2022, and £800k more than February of 2021, highlighting the continuing rising trend in vehicle theft across the UK.
Staycations are becoming ever-popular, and with spring around the corner, motorhomes and caravans across the country will soon be out on the roads again. Whilst these home-from-homes continue to gain demand, it will unfortunately lead to a likely rise in stolen vehicles.
Global Telemetrics has had a kick start to the year, with £3.4m worth of vehicles recovered during January alone.
